Introduction and Background
Our societies need to further develop meeting places where people can meet without a formal invitation and to participate in activities of chosen interest. These meeting places can also be virtual.
In Luleå during the first OLE this was done through a pilot web portal called "lulesenior". From our results we selected the following areas:
A package assisting others to establish an IT based community, web based meeting platform for senior citizen with focus on transnational solutions.
A model as a product for physical and informal meeting places.
