Introduction and Background
Health Services is one area where OLE confirmed a number of necessary development initiatives. Initiatives with a strong transnational focus.
Health Services defined as domestic health services is when care is given in the patients own home.
Many of the development issues raised during Our Life as Elderly concerning domestic health services need to change for the better of our citizens, their health status and their ability to reside in their own homes for a longer time.
Under "health" we have worked with the development of 2 new products and services.
A functional system for increased safety through home visits and risk assessment to elderly residing in their own homes.
Test, describe, package and establish suitable systems for Safe Medication along with an educational programe in medication for staff in elderly care
